The answer is simple; a better lifestyle. Depending on the severity of the disorder, children can grow up to be independent. They will always need to be monitoring their symptoms. These are not diagnoses or disorders that go away with time; you will always have to be taking care of yourself or, to some extent, of your child.
But, if you seek the right support and treatments for each diagnosis, there is no reason why you, or your loved one, cannot reach the potential.
There are opportunities available to help your child lead a ‘normal’ life. Depending on your state there are different programs or living option, some including;
- Governmental Institutions (jobs)
- Assisted living facilities
- Group Homes
- Family Care Homes
